If you would like to contribute to our fundraising efforts for Watoto Kicheko, there are many ways of doing this.
Some people do a sponsored walk, swim, run, sit in a bath full of eels, shave half their head, etc. Whatever you choose to do can be as outlandish or as dignified as you like. It is the spirit in which you take part that counts!
We will also have special fundraising drives from time to time, so we can let you know what our specific needs are and how you can help. To be kept up to date about fundraising drives, please fill in the newsletter form on the right hand column of this page.
In the past people have organized open days, bring and buy sales, fundraising at work, musical performances, social occasions, such as meals and all sorts of other ideas. Some of our best fundraisers have been people who also volunteered at Watoto Kicheko. But others had no previous connection with the organization. Contributions from fundraising activities are all welcome, no matter how small. We have many followers and supporters, so that over time we hope that ‘haba na haba hujaza kibaba’ (Swahili for ‘little by little fills the pot’).
